  • Knowledge capture and current state analysis
  • Document client needs and goals; align with client business objectives
  • Set out options on portal development, strategic planning path
  • Confirm sources of content, internal and external, and identify the correct subject matter experts to assist with data
  • Document a number of scenarios of regular work and usage by typical users – e.g. tax advisory professionals, government economic policy makers.
  • Develop or source taxonomies for the knowledge area by reference to use cases
  • Identify the correct technology needs in cooperation with technical team
  • Develop, with client staff, working templates, linkages and tools that are intrinsic to the user’s regular work.
  • Deliver content – mainly through linkage – on supplementary data, that can benefit regular users.
  • Design ancillary services around the personal and business needs of users to keep them coming to the portal regularly.
  • Prepare budgets and project management documentation where needed.
  • Work with technical teams to implement portal
